Our Story

Renewed Church started as an encouragement from a small group of people who felt that we could add value to the lives of people in our community.  We began this journey in the Dining Room at Mangias Pizza & Catering in Westland, Michigan Labor Day weekend 2003.  Through the testimony of those who have participated we have seen God's working in the lives of those who have faithfully supported what He is doing in us individually and as a group.

In May 2026 we signed a lease to rent space from another church (Grace Lutheran) under a shared space agreement.  Our new address is 46001 Warren Rd., Canton, Mi 48187.

We believe that God wants us to plant ourselves at this location and begin the effort of reaching as many as His Spirit leads to us.  We are excited at the thought of all the possibilities that God has provided and the potential for personal and community growth.  Please join us and become a part of our story ... a part of God's story!

We want to join hands in helping others; whether it be in the healing of old wounds, or the feeding and clothing those less fortunate.  We believe that those who sit under the teaching of God's Word will be moved to expand their hearts in how they view the world.  This change usually, and hopefully, encourages grace amongst the community as well as offering a helping hand to those that need God's Grace demonstrated through such assistance!

We have already participated in the feeding of the homeless in Detroit.  Where we will participate in the future is only known by God.  However, we are certain that the growing in our knowledge of Him through His Word will result in a growing participation in His work here in Southeast Michigan and possibly around the world.

We will minister to others at the pace that God provides the resources through our faithful supporters.  We have an intense desire to baptize others who want to proclaim their faith and association with Jesus Christ and assist them in their growth to become more faithful and mature followers of Him.
